On Jan. 29, David Ignatius, columnist and associate editor for The Washington Post and best-selling author, will deliver UNC Kenan-Flagler’s annual Weatherspoon Lecture.

Ignatius has been covering the Middle East and the CIA for more than 25 years. Over the course of his distinguished career in the news business, he has served as a reporter, foreign correspondent, editor and columnist, and has covered almost every Washington beat, from the Pentagon to Capitol Hill.

The topic of his Weatherspoon lecture will be “Foreign Affairs – How to Fix the World.”

On April 7, we will welcome Mark Tercek for the final UNC Kenan-Flagler Dean’s Speaker Series event of this academic year.

Tercek is president and CEO of The Nature Conservancy, the global organization known for its collaborative efforts and intense focus on protecting nature and preserving life. He is the author of The Washington Post and Publisher’s Weekly best-selling book, “Nature’s Fortune: How Business and Society Thrive by Investing in Nature.”
