MBA alumni with a graduation year ending with a “1” or a “6” are invited to attend a fun-filled Reunion Weekend 2016, which will include a very special event in the Dean E. Smith Center – celebrating 30 years since it opened.
SAVE THE DATE! Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina April 29-May 1, 2016.
Please consider helping us reach your classmates and encourage them to attend – this is a critical ingredient for a fun reunion. Contact Matt Marvin to learn how you can be a Class Connector. This is not a big time-commitment and, based on feedback from others who have done it, is a really fun way to connect with classmates in your local area and beyond.
We’ve redesigned the weekend to maximize the time for you to reconnect with your classmates. And at the end of it all, Sunday brunch is on us before you head home! Two highlights of the weekend will be:
- Friday night (April 29): Special receptions for each reuniting class, preceded by a good old fashioned keg party at He’s Not Here. We’ve also booked several areas at Top of the Hill, which will be made available on a first come, first serve basis for each reuniting class. We will work with Class Connectors to organize additional gatherings at other popular Chapel Hill locations.
- Saturday night (April 30): Cocktails and dinner on the floor of the Dean E. Smith Center. The festivities will also include a free throw competition, behind the scenes tours, access to the Carolina Basketball Museum, a chance to cut down the nets, unique photo ops and so much more.
There weekend will also include a golf tournament, seminars and other fun events. Childcare options will be available.
We will be sharing details with all reuniting alumni in the coming weeks via email and snail mail, as well as posted on the UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni website. Registration will be available via the site at a future date.
